Nowadays, it is seldom or never wear Kimono in the ordinary life. In special occasions, such as the wedding, the tea ceceremony and local festivals, Japanese people are willing to put on it.

Japan has one of the world 's greatest traditions of craftsmanship. Tradition is

alive; while maintaining the intrinsic qualities, it undergoes an unceasing

evolution. The contemporary Kimono is not mere copies of previous works made faithfully following  the existing techniques.
